Nearly returned this book because of the terrible narration on the first 14 chapters. I mean it’s awful. Then the narrator gets his act together and the story comes alive and the narration becomes one of the best. I’m amazed at how one can be so terrible then so great.
Stick with the book… It pays off. Best single credit I have spent. Or get this on sale and save even more.
The story has everything I enjoy. Multiple perspectives. Various characters that I care about… Even the bad guys… Heck I’m not sure who really is the bad or good guys in this book. One could argue many different angles on good VS bad in this book. I loved it.
