I made it through two and a half hours, but I’m quitting. I’ve read a lot of quality sci-fi and this ain’t it.
Over-written with unnecessarily complicated words, like some kind of college first-year trying to sound smart by using a thesaurus.
Reads like the author’s power fantasy of having complete control over a helpless adolescent girl (ew), typical female character written by a man (e.g. she “quivers” and is helpless), and even an advanced robot society 1000 years removed from ours managed to sound outdated with the inclusion of biological essentialism. YAWN. It’s 2019, don’t waste your time on this outdated (shockingly recently written) garbage.
