Joe Tesla is back for another action packed adventure and this time it really hits home…in more ways than one. Not only is someone killing women on Joe’s turf, but they’ve invaded his home and are targeting those he loves. Rebecca Cantrell has done a fantastic job with this series. She’s created a flawed by endearing hero in Joe Tesla, a man who suffers from extreme agoraphobia, and his service dog Edison. For a man who lives in a house in buried beneath the city and in the subway tunnels of New York he certainly manages to get into some incredible adventures. This time around he is pushed to his limits and forced to face his fear like never before. I can’t recommend this series enough. And as always Jeffrey Kafer delivers a perfect narration. I was given a free review copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
