I’ve been reading Chests for a while now so I was wondering how the audiobook would turn out. Answer: fantastic. I like that it got more actors for the introduction of Keira and others as I could tell the original narrator was running out of options for female voices. Sometimes I had trouble discerning Arms and Snack. I absolutely LOOOVE his natural Boxxy voice though.
I feel it’s kinda a shame that some of the adult content got cut for the audiobook but I understand that it’s not quite appropriate for the spread of audience the author probably wants to hit with this series. And let’s be honest, it’s not really relevant to the plot to be spelled out like it is in those missing interludes. That’s why I didn’t knock any stars for it.
