If there was ever a book series that better illustrates the theory of unintended consequences, I have not found one yet. plenty of twists, and there’s a reimagining of a song that is deliciously creepy and performed great here… a moment I think was designed for audiobook, or at least I hope. The only criticism I have, I think the protagonist had it a little too easy this time around, though it does not take away from the overall story. can’t wait for the Next book, and to see if the proverbial shoe drops.
