This is a solid apocalyptic tale full of action and suspense. It was hard to get into, but once it took off it became more enjoyable. The characters and plot are solid as well. There’s not really much that is unique, but it’s a solid diversion—escapism fix.
I find Andrew’s narration hit or miss. I’ve read several of the books that he has narrated. He does a pretty good job on this book.
Recommend the omnibus edition.
