The Story had a good flow and a lot of potential. But then ruined by hypocritical rules, for the protagonists. I wouldn’t have minded about any of the rules, except the attitude about what is acceptable wasn’t always consistent. The author at one moment makes lite of friendly competition involving a similar violence, that when done by strangers can have repercussions that ban people from the game. Really? it is a game! I kept thinking, move to a PVE realm, if they don’t like it. If it was that big of a deal, Developers would have made this option. instead any views not in line with the main character, are treated as the worst thing ever. plus there is a lot of unrealistic scenarios, compared with real life RPG’s, that would make it not fun to play….for example, the character level differences that don’t matter, if it gets in the way of the main character. Some of the skills and story are really cool….I just got tired of rolling my eyes at a book, when the cool things were ruined by the development. It’s like when a crime show does a really good job at everything, then ruins it by making a critical plot development dependant upon a low resolution surveillance camera “enhance” beyond what the most expensive equipment could never come close to.
