This is not your typical serial killer book. This is the first book by this author I’ve read, or listened to, and the first book I’ve listened to by the narrator. The writing in this book was well done. I didn’t like the main character Joanna, and she just never grew on me. But, that is completely on me and nothing to do with the writer’s writing. The narrator did a good job, but she had a lot of female characters to voice and there were times that those voices bled together making it hard for me to distinguish who was speaking. Otherwise, this was a good introduction to a new to me author and narrator! I’ll look for more of their work!
