The story is fine – nothing fantastic, but solid. I like the main character well enough, and the support characters are also all well written. My biggest problem is that I invested almost 9 hours in Book 1 and felt like it was just the introduction, not a full story. Based on this first book, the story moves too slow and apparently it is not intended to provide satisfaction as an individual book.
I am not willing to invest myself in another 6 or 7 books based on my lack of satisfaction with the first book.
Also, there is a confusing aspect that repeats throughout the book – short out takes that end in ‘access denied’. Not sure what that is about…
