Good book but very rushed

Interesting book. I like the world. The characters are good. It’s a shorter book so it felt very, very rushed. Gwen was strong but vulnerable. I do think that she accepted what happened way too quickly and then the sex all happened way too quickly. That’s basically what I think of this book. It was good but too rushed.

The narration was fine.. except for all the y’all’s. I know that’s just how it was written but it drives me insane. I’m from the south. I know southerners say y’all, I say y’all but NOT as often as Gwen did. It was so annoying.
