Oh Dear. Yet another Sci-Fi writer with no imagination. Our hero Jacob meets up with aliens, they are described as different & not what he imagined, Ok so I will just guess what they look like then. The starship is described as big with no windows, but very sleek, well I will just imagine that as well. This goes on & on, a bit like the story.
The story is a linear tale, where nothing really happens as there is no time, due to the fact the story is so linear, they go to the starship, they go up the stairs, they walk onto the bridge, the captain turns to say hello…. & on & on it goes, man it is slow going.
Another mystery of Audible as to how this book every got the rating it did. I cannot be alone in giving most of Audibles recommendations a wide berth as so often they turn out to be lame ducks.
