A delightful story of a middle school student’s struggles and frustrations while playing on his father’s football team. I found the majority of this book extremely appropriate and realistic. There was one theme that I found hard to believe. Then again, I taught in Wisconsin and things may be different where the authors are referencing. The narration added to the enjoyment of the story and kept things going. I would expect to find this on many a middle school boy’s reading list. I was given this book free for an honest and fair review.
