When his latest book is given a horrible review by one of the most popular review blogs Blackburn does the one thing an author should never do; he comments on the blog. As the owner of the blog and Blackburn begin a sparring match thing go off the deep end when Blackburn’s ex-wife decides to enter the fray. Soon the two dominant men are embroiled in more than just a war of words and an inevitable face to face meeting happens but who knows just where they will go from there?

Blackburn and Troy’s story is an interesting one. Both men are strong and confident in themselves and their opinions. Never even giving thought to any one else’s point of views. They each are dealing with and wrapped up their own demons and chaos in their lives. So, when the others fears, and problems are put in front of their faces they must take a minute and digest as well as feel. Each man comes off as arrogant but becomes somewhat likable as the story progresses. We begin to understand why they act the way that they do. It was nice to see the way their relationship took shape and how each man begins to understand that there is more in the world than themselves. Narrator Joel Leslie has a distinctive voice and I enjoy his work. He brings each character to life and pulls the listener into the story. #AudiobookObsessionReviewer
