What an interesting take on matching up couples through an algorithm.

Lee, a boomer, doesn’t want to get married so he stays in school for as long as he can. Roman, a tax rat, who lives outside the district Lee’s from changes Lee’s life with a simple yet powerful kiss. Now Lee is on a new path, one of change, acceptances, and possibly love.

I was captivated with this story and the wonderful world Lee and Roman lived in. Though there was romance between the two men, this story follows Lee and his new revelations and how he handles them. I really liked both men, but Roman was definitely the one who stood out for me.

There was a moment or two I had a laugh out loud moment which surprised me as the story had more of a gentle yet serious tone. I found the writing style unique and can’t wait to hear more form JCP.

Joel Leslie did a wonderful job creating a flawless performance. He brought these characters to life making me feel all the emotions. I loved that he changed his voice for each character and was distinct with his accents between the boomers and the tax rats.
