I liked this book, but I feel the book summary doesn’t really give a person enough of an idea of what this book is about. From the point that the two main love interests meet each other, they are together 90% of the rest of the book. I’m a fan of romance novels, so this wasn’t an issue for me, but the only indicator in the summary is the ‘Adult Relationships’ tag.

I can’t really fully call this a LitRPG. While there are game elements, since this takes place in a real world, some stats that should exist just don’t. For example, strength. Not every game has to have a strength attribute… but even if you can’t change it other than training, it really seems odd that none of those stats exist. In fact, there is never a summary of stats that gives you an idea of how strong the main characters are.

As long as you know what you’re getting into, you should enjoy this book. If you’re thinking that this primarily a LitRPG book, you might want to pass.
