I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This review is for the audio copy of The Age of Embers (A Post-Apocalyptic Survival Thriller) The Age of Embers, Book 1 by Ryan Schow and narrated by Kevin Pierce. This was a different take on an EOTWAWKI genre. It describes the initial stages of decay into chaos. And it has an intricate weaving of character development. Great story line mixing drama, action and Sci-Fi. Even though it is the start of a series, it does provide closure at the end of the book for this chapter. And it was narrated by the voice of the apocalypse who always does a great job making these stories come alive in my head.
