Before I say anything I want to say that this book was fun! Really fun!!! I laughed a lot while listening. Oh and cheered out loud, and probably sneered more than once at some unlikeable characters (you’ll know who I’m talking about once you read it). And every time I thought I guessed the direction of the story, will wight pulled and Eithan on me. So all in all a great follow up to the previous book.

Now for the complaints that by no means take away from the awesomeness of this book.
(1) I do wish I had a little more scheming from Eithan. He was more like a wolf in sheep clothing except he was doing too good of a job being a sheep than the maniacal, mustache twirling, with a borderline evil laugh Eithan that we loved. Which means his time to shine has yet to arrive.
(2) My favorite characters were split up and I felt the pain. Almost as much as Yerin and Lindon! And maybe that’s why I wasn’t really all that interested in all the characters introduced?
(3)It wasn’t long enough.

Despite my minor grievances, this book was good. Characters have great development, the world is always changing and I can’t even guess where this book will go! In the meantime I will be rereading it and the rest of the series again. Will Wight thanks for opening up a whole new world. My credits are yours.
