This book was solidly entertaining, easily keeping my attention, though the setting seems to have an extremely high average power level. Sacred Valley alone runs the gamut of what would be the typical range of power in a fantasy book. So Im not confident if the author can deliver well in the future a meaningful portrayel of its highest level powers, or if he is going to end up relying on a crutch where we are just told So and So is much stronger than the other So and so but we arent really shown.
