Overall this was a really sweet listen! Loved Charlie and Reid and their story. I couldn’t really figure out why he didn’t ever tell her it was him who left notes all year or how she didn’t know he was a TA in the class. And I agree with another reviewer that her anger that he lied was a little much, but I think it was more for Charlie to become even stronger in herself and who she was. The narrators were incredible! Both firsts for me, as is this author, and I am outside of the college scene, but I like that Charlie was older than Reid.

As for the title: while The Girl Behind the Red Door is a good title, I think “Tell Me Something Real” would have been better. This was a central theme in Charlie and Reid truly getting to know each other and open up to each other and was just so sweet!

Really enjoyed this ARC listen!
