This book could have been so much better. I found myself wanting more. The time skips ruined this book. It makes sense with 360 years of time to fill but I am rebelling against that.

Why so long? This completely subtracted from the story.

I was a huge fan of the villan. He was well defined and had a clear and amazing character arc. The protagonist Victor was lacking. All he really wanted was to get strong, for what reasons? He felt so shallow.

I wanted to see them grind. I wanted to see them develop their spells, conquer each world, craft. forge alliances, and SO much more… but you just glaze over eveything.

Great voice actors. Sound effects were admirable but the audio level spiked here and there which blew out my ears at times. I love Jeff Hays as always. Justin was great at times and average at others. Laurie, all her female voices were practically the same. The difference between the two main characters voices was that one stuttered, which was annoying, and the other was a quarter of an octave deeper.

Anyways. Villian was one of the best I have ever seen but the rest of the story was lacking. I was never invested because the characters just die and respawns. I never felt the danger.

TL;DR Overall, It is a slightly above average read but it has a lot of lost potential.
