It was a fun story about a space marine and his “trial by fire” in a job he doesn’t want. The premise was I terestimg and kept me engaged. The characters were just different enough to develop a sense of individuality, but a lot of that was brought to life by the narrator and his ability to create a voice for each character.
The world building was done well enough that I wasn’t lost, though it did stay a bit vague. Nothing that distracted from the story at all. All in all a well written story and excellent narration to compliment it
