I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
Good:
• I think the length was a good thing for this one. It was a small scale story that would have felt stretched in a larger format.
• It was interesting to read about fantasy characters in a fantasy world that don’t have magic.
• The characters were the best part, so it’s a win for me.
Not so good:
• It did take me a little while to get into the book, which is dangerous for a novela. If it was a physical book, I might have put it down before I got to the more interesting things. I don’t know how the author might have fixed that, but it’s not something I see with all books.
