I’ve tried out this book twice. Once reading it and then this time listening to it after it was edited and put together in one book.

I just cannot get through it. Rosie is so immature it is absolutely ridiculous. I don’t mind virgin romances and I don’t mind somewhat naive characters, but she was so over the top I seriously couldn’t take it anymore.

A lot of Meghan Quinn fans are constantly raving about this book, talking about how laugh out loud funny it is, but in my opinion, this doesn’t do Meghan Quinn’s writing justice. Her books are usually so hilarious and her characters are so realistic that I’m hooked from the very first sentence. If this is going to be your first MQ book, please don’t try this one first. Give The Mother Road a shot as that one is way more representative of what a fantastic author she is.

The narration was okay. I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it either.
