Alexis Hall continues to create an amazing story that had me feeling all of the feels. One moment I am ready to cry for poor Arden and the next I am ready to shake him. It is impossible to skip ahead because you will absolutely miss some moment in Arden’s travails. Joel Leslie gives an amazing performance and had me laughing, crying, and yelling at different turns. In this third installment, the reader is given an opportunity to see the full gamut of emotions that Arden has regarding Caspian. His love is steadfast, but battered and rejected at almost every turn. Some moments are hard to watch, so to speak, but the highs and lows of Arden are so genuine and earnest it is impossible to look away. This book does not end on a cliffhanger but it did leave me wanting to see a final epilogue HEA several years into the future between Arden and Caspian.
