Much of this story was fantastic.

I like this author and the reader a lot, so I wanted to love it. There were a few aspects that I just did t love. I did not like the hopping around to new groups throughout the world, starting to build a story, then just abandoning it. Australia and the Pacific Ocean could have been developed further or else summarized much more quickly. The book as it is just left me confused by the herky-jerky side-stories.

Otherwise, the main story and characters were great. Jeffrey Kafer did a good job of voicing the characters and narrating.

A little more editorial direction could have turned this into a 5-star production, at least in my opinion.
