For anyone who is reading this, the audio quality with this book is not the best. I use 7.1 headphones and it was clear where the cuts in the lines are, even more so when the protagonist is speaking in his head. When he speaks it sounds great with the echo effect but when in his head and it doesn’t have any effect to it, and it becomes extremely clear where the the narrator Jeff Hayes lines are snipped together.

Story wise the book is a bit slow and in the third quarter of the book it just feels misplaced for the finally. I understand what the author is trying to do with this section of the book but with the ending events it just doesn’t seem to fit. Like a TV show that gets cancelled all of a sudden and they have to play that final episode they recorded years ago and it feels out of place,

Besides those complains, the series in itself is a must read/listen for anyone who likes LitRPG titles. Life Reset, The Land, and Unbound Deathlord are my three highest recommendations for anyone who wishes to continue with the Genre. The Land is more fantasy, while Deathlord is more gray with its morals.
