I couldn’t make it. it reads more like an advertisement for survival gear than a narrative. The character development is an amalgamation of chose your own cliches. I love dystopian future books but I can’t in good conscience recommend this series. It just doesn’t hold water when compared to better tales like The Stand and The Postman, both of which cover similar material.
