Let me start by saying this is a very short audiobook. It seems Goodwin is doing everything he can to squeeze a few bucks from his listeners. It’s a shame.
Second, the story is generic and usual, nothing new except for a pastor who ends of torturing someone by sawing off their leg to get information, all the while justifying it through Christian values of love. Yep. You read that right. The lead pastor saws off a leg to extract information and justifies it using Christian values of love. This is how Goodwin a self proclaimed “Christian” justifies torture. I had to refund the book at that point.
On the pros, Kevin pierce is as great as always.
