Well the authors have done it again…they have successfully redeemed another arrogant character, with plenty of witty banter and tantalizing sex along the way. Lloyd is an OCD lawyer, who controls every aspect of his life outside of the bedroom, and after his behavior in book one, I wasn’t prepared for just how much I would enjoy his journey. Luke is his client who immediately blurs the lines between personal and professional and steals his stubborn, yet vulnerable heart in less than a week. The elevator scene in book 1 was hot, but the bathroom scene upped the hotness factor of book 2 by 100%, so much so that I may have listened to that part more than once. The narration by Joel Leslie couldn’t have been any better and the voices for each character were so perfectly matched that I finished the entire audio in one sitting. I also really loved getting to Troy and Larson back from book 1. I can’t wait to start book 3.
If you like romance, witty banter, and arrogant (yet lovable) characters, then this is a must-listen. Go ahead, you won’t regret it.
