I’m so happy I listened to the these three books. In book one, By The Light Of The Moon, we get to look into Damon and Ava’s story. Damon and Ava has a weird way of meeting. Ava was kidnapped and its takes everything in Damon to stop from killing her before he got to know her. There were secrets to be revealed, more lives to be saved and a whirlwind of characters who makes the story funny and realize what FAMILY really means.
In book two, Beneath a Blood Lust Moon, we get into the story of Braxton and Kate. Braxton’s story is heartbreaking. There is nothing a son wouldn’t do to protect his mother but things take a turn for the worse. Braxton is on the journey of his life and Kate is taking the ride with him. There are twists and turns in the funny story. You have romance authors and Granny that makes this story a delight. Throughout the turmoil that unfolds, there is the light at the end of the tunnel that you can see.
In book three, Desires of a Full Moon, your heart is shattered with Jayden and Haley’s story. I dreaded the reason why these two were together and the awful things each of them went through. I cheered for Jayden. I wanted an HEA for him more than anyone. Living with trauma steals parts of your soul and both Jayden and Hayley needed each other to build them back up.
Jodi Vaughn did an excellent job with these stories and had pulled me into werewolf stories. I can’t wait to listen to book four. Jeffrey Kater really brought the characters to life!
