Galaxy Outlaws is one of those rare series that can capture my attention in Book 1 and keep me listening non-stop until Book 16.

Starting with the amazing cast of characters, ranging from the ace fighter pilot (who can lie like a pro), to the fascinating xenos which populate the universe, to the grumpy wizards who constantly undermine science, the crew of the Mobius are not only a delight to read about, but are truly dynamic characters who grow over time. The plot arcs also grow increasingly complex and engaging as the series continues, some playing out over several books. I never felt like the next book was “more of the same” – every novel offered something new and successfully raised the stakes for the crew.

Mikael Naramore’s performance is also stellar. The subtle use of sound design in this series, coupled with Naramore’s voicing of the cast, make this work a must-have gem. And somehow, you can buy all 16 books (plus the short stories) for one credit. J.S. Morin is as much a wizard as the ones he writes about.
