The book was adventurous, but contained very little in the gaming sense. Not much in the way of geese, levels, and spells. There isn’t much diversity to the players, with very few playable classes, and no extra races. This is what I consider the heart of LitRPG and this book simply doesn’t cover enough of it to be a good book. Otherwise it has a good adventuring aspect with tons of different things going on. The main narrator has no emotion in his words, and makes the book dry to listen to. Other narrators are good, little bit weird since you can tell they have different quality microphones than each other.
