I won this book in a member promotion for the DD12 facebook group. I have previously purchased many many books by the member authors including those who collaborated on this one. Overall I really liked the book. following are my thoughts on a few things:
Story/Plot: I’ve read collaborative works in the past and sometimes they can be patchy. I think they did a great job making the story flow. The plot had some interesting points that are not over used in this genre so bonus points for that. I also liked how they tied in the DD12 group and characters from other works. It did feel that it was written for more of a Young Adult than an Adult audience, but hey anything that will help “edumacate” the generation of snowflakes out there is ok in my book. I bet none of them could even fathom life without personal freedom let alone cell phones.
Narrator: Kevin Pierce… one of the best narrators in the business. He can make even a boring book sound interesting! (disclaimer, this book was NOT boring)
Length: This is the only issue I have with this book as well as with many others in this genre, For this particular story I would have liked a little more background on how everything unfolded as well as a glimpse into the future unless of course other books are planned to make this a series.
