While this is a wonderful love story, there are so many moments of comedy that I laughed so hard that tears came to my eyes. Larson and Troy are both flawed but you can’t help but love them. They are opposites in so many ways, but they truly love each other. Challenges to their love will only create a stronger bond between them. Their elderly neighbor, Ida, is a riot. She will give them sound and hilarious advice. The authors have created a supporting cast of quirky, loving, and fun characters including a dog and cat.
The narrator does an excellent job of portraying the emotions and actions of these characters. He took the author’s words and created a listening adventure. I asked to receive this Audible book and voluntarily wrote this unbiased review. I highly recommend this Audible book. It is a wonderful love story filled with comedy, delightful elderly neighbors, hot explosive love scenes, and two men whose love grows stronger as the story progresses. I would easily give this book more than five stars!
