Home represents a powerful start to what I’m anticipating will be a great series called The Traveler. As the title suggests, this is a story about a post apocalyptic adventure. This book provides considerable, and at times very sad, background about our main character. There’s also a good amount of well written action – note that there is a degree of violence in this book, but nothing that I considered to be over the top. I particularly appreciated the time spent establishing the main character’s personality, flaws, and motivations. If you enjoy this genre, I’d certainly suggest that you add this title to your library.
The narration was well done, clear and enjoyable. I felt as though Kevin was an excellent choice for this book, he really brought me into the story.
