This is definitely one of the best LitRPG stories I have experienced. It is an excellent blend of LitRPG and apocalypse genres. The writing is exceptional, the characters and narration exquisite. I, as have other reviewers, cannot gush enough on how much I enjoyed this story. Mace is a truly heroic figure and him finding Sherry is the icing on the cake. Even considering her horrendous laugh I like her very much. She brings relief and romance to a dying unfriendly world and light to a hopeless situation. I actually know a woman like that IRL. I did note a confusing situation to point out. Sherry had killed a young Wyvern in the forest, received the loot from the corpse, but did not receive any experience for the kill. The Wyvern at level thirty and Sherry at twenty should have gotten enough experience to level up at least once. An oversight to be sure. I wish the entire series were available so that I could go through them one after another. The challenge of creating two worlds and successfully building an immersive and utterly enjoyable existence in each must have been daunting, but Dave Willmarth has pulled it off. Granted, there are minor plot holes and situations to quibble over, but all-in-all this is a wonderful story by a talented author. Soundbooth Theater stepped up to the plate as well. The actors settled down and immersed themselves in the story to bring it to life. I wait impatiently for the following volumes to appear in my library.
