First book! Great job, some creative thinking.

I have been reading a lot of end of the world Zombie books. This writer did a great job of spinning his Zombie tale to have some unique attributes. I give him 5 stars for that alone since that’s getting harder to do. Of course, he has a great military background which I am admittedly no expert, but it sure reads well! It is somewhat sanitized where thankfully I didn’t have to go through the gruesome description of children being infected, etc. I appreciate that since I find details like that somewhat disturbing. I mean, we the reader gets it. And Brian seems to work those boundaries well. It also has an ending which is somewhat unique as there doesn’t seem to any lose ends. So, if you are like me and appreciate these story characteristics, I highly recommend this book.
