Thousands of hours listening to scifi audiobooks, I put this in my top 10. Rarely have I wished a series not to end as much as this. Well developed characters, complex motivations, and good fun. This is a compilation of many books so the value cant be beat. But it has a full story arc, maybe not the Grand Space Opera that was Babylon 5, but with as much heart and soul. This is a personal journey of characters in worlds that you want to inhabit. Well done. The narration was so well done it felt like real people, each distinctive and unique. it was almost worth having Firefly canceled if it inspired this….(almost).
