First off, the narration for the audio is totally awesome! Loved both of the narrators! The male narrator’s voice is one of my new favorites, and the female narrator did really great too. I’d definitely recommend listening! The only thing that bothered me dealt with the author having the names Jase and Chase. Chase is Cameron’s last name, and the guys use it a lot, so the Jases and Chases blended together sometimes while listening.

Loved the enemies to lovers scenario; this is a bully romance type of story; which if done well, I really love. There was awesome chemistry between Hailee and Cameron, and I liked that Hailee stuck-up for herself. This book takes place in a town that is all about Football; the town lets the high school football players do whatever the heck they want, so there’s a bunch of over sexed, pompous teenaged males running around. Hailee’s step-brother, Jase, is the star quarterback and is a complete jerk to her. Jase has 2 friends that are also football players that also pick on Hailee, Cameron and Asher. Jase is a big ole baby; he’s such a little boy and really needs to grow up. I can’t imagine what he’d do if he had anything truly bad happen in his life. The reason he’s such a douche to Hailee is really stupid. At least most of the pranks are mostly low on the harm scale, but the douche factor is strong among these football players and most of the town. Cameron is attracted to Hailee, but doesn’t want to lose his relationship with Jase. They are only really surface level friends, so it’s lame that Cameron lets Jase dictate his actions. Cameron ends up not being able to stay away from Hailee because these two sizzle together.

The story is a bit slow at times, but overall, I really liked it. There were a couple weird things that didn’t make sense to me: you are drugged at a party and you don’t remember much, but you don’t even think that’s a problem? I also don’t think we needed that Miley stuff with Cameron; it didn’t add anything to the story and nothing came of it, so I don’t really see why it needed to be in the story. Maybe Cotton is going to bring it back later in the series. Either way, I don’t like it. I will read the next book, but I’m not exactly in love with the main characters for it. Felicity is Hailee’s best friend, and I just don’t feel a strength from her. She’s going to let the guy treat her horribly for too long, and I’m already ticked about it, lol! But! I have hopes that she doesn’t. I didn’t really like her in this book, so I hope she really makes her guy work for it. Felicity seems like a ditz in this book, so fingers crossed!

Overall, it was great!
