great book, honestly reminded me of dreamcatcher by Steven King. good action, easy to follow. I do wish some parts were more flushed out. couple of plot holes here and there. narrator was a bit over the top. dude needed to take it down a notch, or go full Brock Sampson. the sequel be seems to ditch the alien stuff in favor of North Korean zombies, so I probably won’t continue listening.

Maybe I missed a paragraph, but it feels like he never explained WHY there were those creatures all over the ship. I mean I guess it could have been like the thing, but even then, shouldn’t the original crew be dead and not in cryostasis? Also, why/how did LT know to go to the helipad with a sniper rifle? another thing, why were the aliens pitch black at first, then they could be any color later? Also also, what was up with that half slime half scientist dude, that went super nowhere and he just exploded with no consequence to the latter portion of the book
