There is a new subgenre I have recently discovered called Cultivation Fantasy. So far there are not a whole lot of series in this genre yet but it is growing fast. I am a huge fan of course and have to say this is a good addition. Reading this beside Cradle series, Cultivating Chaos, The First Step, and The Ten Relms series it doesn’t quite stand up to them. Doesn’t mean this book is bad by any means it is still a good book and I will still buy the next one in the series. The begining just didn’t impress me as much as the others and so four stars insted of five. I have hope that the next book will impress me a lot though.
