I’m not an Ed Sheeran fan but I developed an appreciation for his music by the end of this listen. Each chapter opened with lyrics from an Ed Sheeran song and set the stage for what was to come. That was very enjoyable.
The romance was sweet – bittersweet in some moments. It never veered into the melodramatic though. “Good girl” Mia meets not-even-close-to-being-a-bad-boy Derek, and the holes they both have started to fill. I loved this listen!
The narrator was equally exceptional. She had the warm, fuzzy. cozy feeling to her delivery that this story warranted. This was such a lovely story.
