This is the third book I’ve read/listened to by this author and I am keen to listen to the rest of this series
The book follows several groups of people and we get their perspective from day one until their parents eventually may meet with another. I like the way how when we are hearing the story from one group we get the conversation on their side and then when you hear another group and the story are crosses the path we then get the same incident/story from the other groups perspective.
This is the tenth book I’ve listened to by this narrator ( Andrew B Wehrlen ) and he is my favorite post apocalyptic narrator. His style is suited perfectly. He has good male and female characters voices and does tense scenes well.
There are no explicit sex scenes. There is fighting and violence but it is not overly described or gory. There is occasional swearing.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and voluntarily left this unbiased review.
