The book was fine until the author begin dropping in anti gun propaganda. I attempted to ignore it up until the point that author used the main character(former spec ops) to insert his opinion on what type of firearms civilians should be allowed to have. He makes a distinction between ar-15’s and “hunting rifles”, when there is none. An ar-15 is a small game hunting rifle(rabbit, coyote, deer). Then this “former spec ops” guy chooses a bump stock to take into battle, which is just absurd. The author then makes the claim that they are illegal. This book was written in 2018. Bump stocks were not banned by the federal government until a couple months ago. With over 3 hours still left on the book, I shut it off. The insertion of all of this was completely irrelevant to the story line and ruined what could have been a decent read.
