This is not a compliment in any way.

This series is trying to shock you with the typical 1 twist wonder that you only see from crappy directors above. I am actually dissappointed because not only did I see this coming, I was actually hoping it wouldn’t happen. Now that is has, I see the huge lost potential in such a unique idea for a book.

I am starting to not like the main character and would have preferred more of the book to be about Rastia and her mission. There was so much potential for exploit in such a flawed system, I’m surprised the author didn’t capitalize on it. All that was accomplished was a mission that was doomed to fail from the start, and only through dumb luck did it all turn out in the end. Sad

As was said before by other commenters, the ending was bad. My suggestion is to skip to the end to save yourself the 14 hours of buildup that turns out to be worth nothing, because it all goes to waste. Terrible letdown for fans. Might as well told us that the entire book is a dream and the main character wakes up just to forget it 2 hours later…

The one good thing that came out of the ending is that Vic is no longer going to be around and annoying as ever. Would rather have the Aussi guy take over permanently, He was awesome!

Come on Shemer, you can do better!
