Time Travel Thrill Ride

Here, Owen McCoy is the head of security for Synergy. He has taken a wannabe thief under his wing and is showing him the ropes on his security patrol when a wave hits and they are transported in time to the day before his father dies. He then meets his father taking his younger self hunting. Soon another wave and they are all transported again. Then another wave… who is behind this and how does Owen get home?

Wow! What an exciting time travel thrill ride. I enjoyed the cultural references to other time travel films. The characters are well-developed and interesting – at times you get to meet several different versions of themselves as they are hurled through time. And, if that wasn’t enough – these adventurers have to deal with the environment and creatures from the various time periods – including dinosaurs. This is so well written and a completely exhilarating ride.

The narrator, Jeffrey Kafer, is superb, as always [have become a big fan]. He is able to add tension to his voice during the thrilling scenes and then tenderness at the more quiet scenes between ghe characters. A great compliment to the written word.
