Hardman is an ex-cop come PI, hired by a father who’s daughter has gone missing. Hardman enters into the world of 70’s Atlanta prostitution and pimping to track the girl down with some interesting twists and turns along the way.
The hardman series of books are a product of the 70’s which have stood the test of time surprisingly well. There are small elements of dialog within the book that reveal attitudes of the 70’s but it certainly doesn’t overpower the overall story.
The choice of narrator is perfect for this book genre. I’d certainly go back and read another Hardman book now
