This story is right up my alley! Following plot lines I enjoy consistently another novels. I found the narrator to be agonizingly slow however. Intonation was good invoices a crossed the cast well done, but by the end of the book I had the narration speed at 200%, which is something I’ve never done. When I did switch to the faster tempo I noticed I was more easily able to follow along with more attention and desire to know what happened next.
I will say as the story goes there is a little bit of lack luster world building. We are given motivations and all actions make sense, but a bit more understanding of we’re all of these issues and main plot elements stem from wouldn’t have gone a miss.
I was given this audiobook for free upon my request, in exchange for an honest review. And I cannot say for certain whether or not I will buy book two. I do believe it has a lot of potential!
