This was my first Karen Rose book, and I enjoyed the story and characters but the award winning narrator almost made me give up. The quavering voice just got to me. I could never tell who was speaking and had to back up several times to figure it out. As I said the enjoyment is in the ear of the listener, and this narrator is not for me.
