I think this story could have been much better.

There are some nice elements to this story, like the world building and character development; however this novel feels unfinished. Not from a story perspective but from a quality control. First this narrator was terrible. Secondly, the writing felt like something from a creative writing class, lacking real narrative continuity. This doesn’t feel like something from a polished writer.
